The Lawrence is a brilliant, sturdy and well engineered music stand. It is, without a doubt, a ‘no frills’ music stand but it is all the better for it! The stand itself is solidly made, meaning it’s ideal for home, the school orchestra or wind band. The music desk is large, spring loaded retainers’ which keep your music in place. This is particularly good for use in outside concerts. The desk size of 48.5cm x 34cm makes it ideal for larger orchestral scores too. It can be angled too so this, along with the vast height adjustment, mean it can be used sitting down or standing up. The shaft of the stand is produced from thick metal which has tough, moulded plastic adjusters which are easy to move. The stand is of a tripod design with a metal bracing which makes it very sturdy and it also comes complete with plastic covered feet so as not to scratch the floor. Overall, this is a great stand at a very attractive price.
